With increasingly stringent industrial wastewater discharge standards, the treatment of oily wastewater has become a significant environmental challenge for industries such as petrochemicals, machinery manufacturing, and steel metallurgy. Our independently developed and manufactured CPI oil-water interceptors (Corrugated Plate Interceptors) are becoming the preferred oil-water separation equipment for a growing number of companies due to their highly efficient and stable oil-water separation performance.


The CPI oil-water interceptor is a high-efficiency oil-water separation device based on the principle of shallow pool sedimentation and coalescence separation technology. The device contains multiple sets of corrugated inclined plates. As wastewater flows between the plates, oil droplets rise to the lower side of the plate under gravity and coalesce into larger droplets, eventually rising to the surface and being collected. Meanwhile, suspended solids settle to the upper side of the plate and slide down to the bottom sludge hopper. Through this design, the CPI oil-water interceptor can achieve efficient separation of oil, water, and sludge in a relatively short residence time.
