Sedimentation tanks are widely used in the purification and treatment of industrial wastewater, domestic sewage, slaughter sewage, non-ferrous metal processing wastewater, stone sewage, mining sewage, biochemical water and various high-suspended solid wastewater. It is suitable for improving the quality of drinking water and small sewage projects in rural areas, towns, farms, military barracks and small and medium-sized enterprises and institutions.
1. Industrial wastewater field
Sedimentation tanks play a vital role in the field of industrial wastewater treatment. Especially in the non-ferrous metal processing industry, it can effectively remove metal particles and scum; for mining wastewater, especially acidic wastewater, the metal oxides formed after neutralization reaction can be efficiently intercepted; in the treatment of stone processing wastewater, the sedimentation tank can quickly separate the high-concentration suspended solids in stone powder and cutting wastewater; in the use scenarios of food processing wastewater and printing and dyeing textile wastewater, the sedimentation tank is mainly used to remove pollutants such as grease and fiber.
2. Municipal sewage treatment
In the use scenario of municipal sewage treatment, the primary sedimentation tank can remove more than 70% of suspended solids and reduce the load of biological treatment; the secondary sedimentation tank is mainly responsible for the task of activated sludge separation. Especially for the high organic matter and high suspended solids in slaughterhouse wastewater, the combination of sedimentation tanks and dissolved air flotation machines can form a powerful treatment system with a more thorough treatment effect. In decentralized independent units such as rural areas, military units, and farms, vertical flow sedimentation tanks are combined with artificial wetlands to form an economical and practical treatment system with more obvious effects.
3. Technical advantages and innovations
Currently, there are many types of sedimentation tanks, including inclined plate sedimentation tanks, inclined tube sedimentation tanks, vertical flow sedimentation tanks, radial flow sedimentation tanks, and horizontal flow sedimentation tanks. Among them, inclined tube sedimentation tanks and inclined plate sedimentation tanks can increase the sedimentation area, and the treatment effect is 4-5 times higher than that of traditional sedimentation tanks. At the same time, additional mud discharge devices can be added for use, which has higher treatment efficiency. Sedimentation tanks can be used in combination with other sewage treatment equipment, especially dissolved air flotation machines, flocculation sedimentation, etc., and the treatment process is complex and diverse.
